Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda claimed on Wednesday that an NDA wave is sweeping Bihar and that the people have decided to elect an NDA government in the state once again.
Addressing a series of public rallies in Bihar, he said it has taken 20 years to get Bihar’s development journey back on track, and now the state is moving forward rapidly. “This election is about giving Bihar stability and linking it with development,” he added.

“Our journey in Bihar has been from lanterns to LEDs — and today, the era of LEDs has arrived,” he said.
Nadda further praised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying he is working tirelessly to keep the state moving swiftly on the path of development. “This is Bihar’s golden era, a sign of a bright future. This is the time to contribute to building a developed India and a developed Bihar,” he said.
Recalling his childhood in Patna, Nadda said, “I know that at that time it was the age of darkness and lawlessness was at its peak. Under the NDA government, a network of roads has been laid, and new highways and railway networks have been built.”
Addressing the rally, he added, “Twenty years ago, people used to go to those who had generators to charge their mobile phones, paying Rs10 because there was no electricity at home. Today, villages have electricity for 23–24 hours. Villagers are now YouTubers because the Modi government has connected more than 5,000 panchayats to the internet.”
Under the women’s employment scheme, women in Bihar have been given assistance of Rs 10,000 each. After the formation of an NDA government in the state, Rs 2 lakh will be credited to the accounts of Bihar’s women so that they can connect themselves to self-employment.
